Everything you need to know about syncing your bank data into Google Sheets with ZentroData.
How does ZentroData work?
ZentroData connects your bank accounts to Google Sheets through secure, read-only integrations. When you sign in with Google, a ready-to-use template is copied into your Drive. After you link your bank, your transactions and balances sync into your Sheet automatically each day. Your data stays inside your Google ecosystem.
Is my bank data secure?
Yes. ZentroData uses bank-grade security including OAuth login, 256-bit encryption, and read-only access. Your credentials never touch ZentroData servers and your financial data remains inside Google’s infrastructure.
Do you ever see my bank data or credentials?
No. ZentroData cannot view or store your login credentials or financial history. The data flows directly between your bank and Google Sheets.
Do you sell my data?
No. ZentroData does not collect or store your financial information and therefore cannot sell it. All data remains inside your Google Sheet under your full control.
Why should I connect my bank data to Google Sheets?
Google Sheets gives you complete flexibility. Build budgets, track cash flow, analyze spending, create dashboards, and design your own financial workflows without being limited by preset categories or interfaces.
What can I do with my data in Google Sheets?
You can build budgets, monitor income and expenses, analyze cash flow, create charts and dashboards, combine personal and business accounts, and prepare accountant-ready reports. Your Sheet becomes a live financial database that updates daily.
How fast is setup?
Under 60 seconds. Sign in with Google, choose the template, link your bank, and your Sheet begins filling in automatically.
How often does my data update?
Your transactions and balances refresh automatically once per day. No manual imports or uploads are required.
How is ZentroData better than Mint or Credit Karma?
Mint and Credit Karma restrict customization and rely on advertising. ZentroData provides your raw financial data inside a spreadsheet where you can build custom dashboards, reports, and workflows with total control.
How is ZentroData different from Tiller?
ZentroData offers faster setup, simpler onboarding, and more flexibility. Crypto syncing is also coming soon, giving you a unified view of traditional financial accounts and digital assets.
Do you support crypto?
Crypto wallet and exchange syncing is launching soon, allowing you to track banking and digital asset data together in one Sheet.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your Google Sheet stays in your Drive and you keep all historical data. Syncing stops, but your information remains yours permanently.
Can I share my Sheet with others?
Yes. You can share your Sheet with accountants, advisors, business partners, or family members using standard Google sharing permissions.
What banks do you support?
ZentroData supports thousands of US banks and credit unions, including all major institutions. New providers are added regularly.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You get a 14-day free trial with full access. Connect your banks, customize your Sheet, explore the features, and cancel anytime.
What integrations are coming next?
Upcoming integrations include crypto, PayPal, and Amazon Seller syncing. These additions will allow you to combine banking, ecommerce, and digital asset data in one place.
Can ZentroData move money or change anything in my bank account?
No. All connections are read-only. ZentroData cannot initiate transfers, withdrawals, or any changes to your accounts.
Does ZentroData work for businesses?
Yes. Freelancers, agencies, and small businesses use ZentroData to track expenses, monitor cash flow, and prepare financial data for accountants. You can link multiple business accounts into a single Sheet.
Can I customize the template?
Yes. You can modify the template or build entirely new dashboards. ZentroData continues syncing data in the background regardless of how you structure your Sheet.
How do I revoke access?
You can disconnect your bank or revoke Google permissions at any time. Your Sheet remains in your Drive, but syncing stops immediately.
Does ZentroData work outside the United States?
